Reorienting After Loss: A Sad Hour Exploring Grief, Identity, and Values
Current Wellness, 219 S East St. Raleigh, NC 27601
March 25, 2026 7:30 PM

When we lose someone or something central to our lives, we don’t just lose a person—we often lose our sense of self. Who are you now? What do you value when the world feels upside down?

Join Grieve Leave, Current Wellness, and the Center for Loss, Grief, Hope & Healing for a Sad Hour dedicated to the "identity shift" of grief. This session moves beyond the surface to explore how loss reorients our lives and how we can find our footing again.

We will start with an interactive deep dive into grief and grief-related trauma. We’ll participate in a short activity to help identify our shifting values and conclude with a 15-minute mindfulness exercise designed to help you feel present in your body, even when things feel heavy.

Whether you are in the thick of a recent loss or navigating the long-term changes that follow, come as you are.
