Have you ever pushed grief-y feelings around loss down because you had to keep it moving when the rest of the world didn’t stop? Same. If you have been getting by by bottling it up, this Sad Hour is for youIt’s an opportunity to heat up the pressure enough that the release valve can open.
Join us at Threehouse Studios for Heat It Up, Cry It Out, a heated yoga class in a room full of people who get it. Studio owner Josephine McCrann will begin class with vinyasa style yoga that will give you opportunities to push you right up to your own edge.
No yoga experience required. No performing your grief required either. Just show up and let your body do what it needs to do.
Come solo. Bring a friend. Cry if you need to. That's kind of why we're here.
$25 in-person | Virtual streaming option also available for $10

We're heading to LA for the Grieftastic Book Fair, and we're bringing Sad Hour™ with us!
Join Grieve Leave for an all-day Sad Hour during the book fair, where you can pull up a chair, talk about grief, meet new people, or just hang out with folks who get it.
Our founder, Rebecca Feinglos, will also be moderating a panel, Beyond Goodbye: How We Care and Carry On, from 2:35–3:10 PM. Plus, meet Tabitha Blackwell, our founding Executive Director.
Featuring authors Shelby Forsythia, Oona Metz, Stephanie Sarazin, and Natasha Smith, the conversation will explore grief that often goes unrecognized or unspoken, from losses that don't fit traditional narratives to how rituals, recognition, and community can help us feel seen.
Come browse books, meet the authors, join the conversation, and spend some time with us. We'd love to see you there!

On the red carpet, “Who are you wearing?” refers to your outfit’s designer. In everyday life and in Hamilton Hill/Grieve Leave language, it might mean your grandmother, father, friend, or someone who left you a ring, watch, or special piece of jewelry.
Bring your questions, stories, and treasured pieces. The Hamilton Hill team can help identify gems, metals, repurposing options, and more, plus offer complimentary on-the-spot cleaning. You will be able to browse the Hamilton Hill showcases, but the focus of this event is to bring out the pieces we treasure, swap stories, and celebrate why we’ve held onto them.
Come with something that belonged to someone, with questions, or neither! Enjoy refreshments and real conversation, with no pressure to share or spend.
Tickets: $10 (includes a drink, hors d’oeuvres, and great conversation)
