Meet & Grieve: Holiday Grief AMA
That weird stretch between Thanksgiving and December holidays when the world seems to speed up, but grief makes everything feel like it's moving in slow motion? Yeah, we get it. Whether you've just survived your first major holiday without someone, or you're dreading the next round of celebrations, this in-between time can feel incredibly lonely – even when you're surrounded by tinsel and cheer. Join us for an "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) Virtual Meet & Grieve, where no topic is taboo and every question is welcome. Hosted by Grieve Leave's founder, Rebecca Feinglos, this event offers a judgment-free space to explore the complexities of grief – whether you're processing how the first major holiday without someone went, or anxious about the celebrations ahead. This is your chance to ask what's been on your mind, share your experiences, or simply listen and find comfort among those who truly understand. Come as you are – ready to open up, seek answers, or just be present in a supportive community. Our AMAs are ongoing, providing consistent support for your evolving grief journey. Don't miss this opportunity to connect, learn, and find solace with people who "get it."
Meet & Grieve: So, You’re A Caregiver AMA (Ask Me Anything!)
Ever found yourself juggling medications, appointments, and your own emotions while caring for a loved one? Maybe you never expected to be in this position, or maybe it’s been a long time coming and is all part of a plan. Maybe you’ve never thought about yourself as a caregiver until *literally* right now. Welcome to the complex world of caregiving, where grief often sneaks in wearing an "I’ve totally got this" disguise. (Spoiler alert: It's ok when we don’t have it all figured out!) Whether you're a full-time caregiver, balancing care with other responsibilities, or simply lending a hand to a friend in need, this Meet & Grieve is for you. Join us for one of our monthly virtual gatherings hosted by Grieve Leave's founder, Rebecca Feinglos, as, this time, we navigate the often-overlooked terrain of caregiver grief. We'll explore those "I didn't know I was allowed to feel this way" moments and the challenges of maintaining your identity while prioritizing someone else's needs. This judgment-free zone is your chance to connect with others who understand the journey of caregiving. We'll discuss recognizing the signs of caregiver grief (spoiler: it's not always tied to a death), the guilt that comes with needing a break, and strategies for self-care that don't feel like another task on your to-do list. Whether you're looking to share your story, ask questions, or simply listen, you're welcome here. Come as you are – in your comfiest clothes, with your favorite beverage in hand. Remember, acknowledging your grief doesn't make you a bad caregiver; it makes you human. And last we checked, humans need support too. So join us in creating a community where caregiver grief is seen, validated, and supported.
Meet & Grieve: Back To School AMA
Your grief isn’t taking a gap year– even though we probably wish it would. As summer fades and a new academic year begins, we know grief will be alongside us for the semester, too. Join us for a special "Back to School" virtual edition of our monthly Meet & Grieve events, where we'll explore the unique challenges of navigating grief in academic settings. Whether you're next to an empty desk where a friend once sat, transferring to a new school without your usual support system, the course you wanted to teach this year got cut, you’re injured and unable to play the sport you used to love, you didn’t get into the school you wanted, or you’re struggling to focus on studies while processing loss, this space is for you. Hosted by Grieve Leave's founder, Rebecca Feinglos, this "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) event offers a chance to discuss all things grief and school, such as coping with the absence of friends, classmates, or mentors who won't be returning, adjusting to new environments while carrying your grief; balancing self-care and academic demands, handling changes in routines, like not participating in a sport you used to play and strategies for focus and motivation when grief feels overwhelming. Come as you are – ready to open up, seek answers, or just be present in a supportive community. This is your opportunity to ask questions you've been hesitant to voice, share your experiences, or simply listen and find comfort among those who truly understand. Don't miss this chance to connect, learn, and find solace with people who "get it!”

Meet & Grieve: Ambiguous Loss
Most of us know what it means to grieve when someone dies, but what about a loss without a death? Ambiguous loss is a loss without closure or clear understanding, leaving us feeling uncertain, confused, and alone. It can happen when a loved one is physically present but psychologically absent (as with dementia or addiction), or physically absent but psychologically present (as in the case of missing persons or estranged relationships). If you're grappling with ambiguous loss, join us for a Virtual Meet & Grieve, hosted by Grieve Leave's founder, Rebecca Feinglos. Come as you are, whether you're ready to open up, ask questions, or simply find comfort in the presence of those who "get it."
Grief Onscreen: A Meet & Grieve Screening of Captain Scott B and the Great Adventure
Join us for a special Meet & Grieve exploring grief through the lens of the documentary, "Captain Scott B and the Great Adventure." Hosted by Grieve Leave's Rebecca Feinglos, and featuring Betsy Bertram, the film's co-producer and subject, this virtual gathering offers a unique opportunity to witness one woman's journey to find hope and meaning after the death of her father. Set against the stunning backdrop of North Carolina's natural beauty, the film follows Betsy as she embarks on a quest to complete her late father's project, uncovering his wisdom on living a magical life along the way. Through hiking, paddling, and kiteboarding adventures, Betsy invites us to consider what it means to live fully, even in the face of grief. After the screening, we'll open the floor for a Q&A with Betsy, diving into the film's themes and her personal experiences. Whether you've faced the death of a loved one or any other form of grief, this judgment-free space welcomes you to share, listen, and find solace among others who understand. Meet & Grieve: Navigating Grief In The Workplace AMA
Grief doesn't clock out when you clock in. At times, grief can feel amplified in the workplace - whether you're grieving a death, breakup, job loss, or any other life-altering event, the challenge of juggling those intense emotions while maintaining “professionalism” (whatever we think that means) can be overwhelming. And don't get us started on how three days of bereavement leave is nowhere near enough – we'll talk about this and more during our special "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) event focused on navigating how we handle our grief in the workplace. Rebecca Feinglos, founder of Grieve Leave, will provide insights, share her own experiences, and answer your questions about managing grief on the job.
Meet & Grieve: When Grief Hits Too Young
Grief doesn't always wait until you’re older. For many young adults, the overwhelming experience of loss - whether it's a devastating diagnosis, death, or another life-altering event - is often overlooked. That's why we're teaming up with our friends at Gray for Glioblastoma for this special Meet & Grieve. Hosted by Grieve Leave's founder, Rebecca Feinglos, in collaboration with Kate Snedeker of Gray for Glioblastoma, this virtual gathering is a much-needed space for young adults navigating grief. Whether your loss was recent or long ago, you can unload, connect with others who get it, or just listen - whatever you need, this space is for you.
