“Who Are You Wearing?” A Sad Hour with Hamilton Hill Jewelry
Hamilton Hill Jewelry, Brightleaf Square, Durham, NC
November 16, 2026 5:30 PM

On the red carpet, “Who are you wearing?” refers to your outfit’s designer. In everyday life and in Hamilton Hill/Grieve Leave language, it might mean your grandmother, father, friend, or someone who left you a ring, watch, or special piece of jewelry.

Bring your questions, stories, and treasured pieces. The Hamilton Hill team can help identify gems, metals, repurposing options, and more, plus offer complimentary on-the-spot cleaning. You will be able to browse the Hamilton Hill showcases, but the focus of this event is to bring out the pieces we treasure, swap stories, and celebrate why we’ve held onto them.

Come with something that belonged to someone, with questions, or neither! Enjoy refreshments and real conversation, with no pressure to share or spend.

Tickets: $10 (includes a drink, hors d’oeuvres, and great conversation)
